Launch: Artemis Advances: SLS Ascending

Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Location: US,

Please join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Hancock Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, November 17 at 1:00pm EDT for a look into the programs and people that will drive the next era of human deep space exploration.

With NASA’s boldest program since Apollo to return humans to the Moon, NASA is constructing the world’s most powerful rocket – the Space Launch System (SLS) – to bring personnel and materiel support to cislunar orbit and the surface below. SLS core engine stage testing is underway at the Stennis Space Center and this event will focus on the importance of this new space launch capability and will highlight the vision and workforce behind the design, manufacturing, and assembly of this massive vehicle.

For this installment, we’ll hear from Sen. Roger Wicker, Rep. Robert Aderholt, Shuttle veteran Jan Davis, and Samson Williams of the Space Channel.

This virtual event will also take the audience on a tour through Stennis Space Center and NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility.

We hope that you will join us for the final LAUNCH: Artemis policy series webinar. You will not want to miss out on this unique experience.
