A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 531 will launch the Advanced Extremely High Frequency-2 (AEHF-2) satellite for the U.S. Air Force.

Launch Window: Thursday, May 3, 2012 - 2:46 p.m. EDT for 2 hours.

The AEHF-2 system is the successor to the five-satellite Milstar constellation and will provide significantly improved global, highly secure, protected, survivable communications for all warfighters serving the U.S. national security.
