SpaceRef - Astrobiology and Life Science - NASA Programs

NASA Astrobiology Institute First General Meeting - This meeting, held at NASA Ames Research Center in 1998, served as both an introduction to the new discipline of Astrobiology for people form a wide range of disciplines as well as a means of helping to define the research plan for NASA's Astrobiology program.

NASA Center for Computational Astrobiology (NCCA) - NCCA has assembled a multidisciplinary team of scientists working on projects involving computational biology, chemistry, geology and astronomy. Detailed computational studies by these scientists are aimed at providing new clues for understanding how life began, its possible existence elsewhere in the universe, and projecting the future of life on the Earth and beyond.

National Space Biomedical Research Institute NSBRI) - The NSBRI was established by NASA to design, implement and validate effective countermeasures to address the biological and environmental impediments to long-term human space flight and to engage in a wide variety of basic and applied research programs with applications within and outside of NASA.
