SpaceRef - Government and Politics - International - EUTELSAT
European Telecommunications Satellite Organisation (EUTELSAT) - EUTELSAT operates more than 240 Ku-band transponders on 15 satellites, all of which were manufactured by European industry. The satellites span the orbital arc in geosynchronous orbit from 12.5 degrees West to 48 degrees East, enabling visibility of the earth from the east coast of North America to Asia.
