International Space Business Council (ISBC) - "ISBC was established to meet the needs of the evolving and expanding global space industry. The overall mission of the ISBC is to develop resources and activities to support the industry of today while working near-term business development activities while encouraging the future growth of the industry for tomorrow."

Satellite Alliance USA - This NASA and Department of Defense partnership with industry and academia seeks to consolidate NASA and DoD's requirements for space technology, assess industry's capabilities to provide services and products in the future and create technology roadmaps for numerous needed technologies.

Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) - SBCA is the national trade organization representing all segments of the satellite industry and is committed to expanding the utilization of satellite technology for the broadcast delivery of entertainment, news, information and educational programming. The SBCA's member constituency is composed of DBS platform providers, programmers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, encryption vendors and software technology providers.

Satellite Industry Association (SIA) - SIA is the main trade organization representing U.S. space and communications companies in the commercial satellite arena. SIA’s executive member companies are the leading satellite service providers, satellite manufacturers, launch services companies and ground equipment suppliers in America.

Space Business Archives - "The Space Business Archives created by industry officials convinced that the history of commercial space was being lost through destruction of documents and departure of key industry personnel through industry downsizing and retirements. The value of the archives is confirmed through ongoing donations of documents from the US, Europe, the former Soviet Union and Asia, as well as via the growing number of historians, business people and policy officials now using the Archives."

Space Transportation Association (STA) - "STA represents the interests of organizations and people who are engaged in developing, building, operating, and using space transportation vehicles, systems, and services to provide reliable, economical, safe, and routine access to space for private users and government, civil, and military users."

The South Africa Space Forum - "The South African Space Forum is a collaborative effort between the South African Department of Communications and the CSIR to encourage the development of the South African space industry. This forum aims to stimulate discussion amongst the existing players in the industry as well as aid in the development of new opportunities."

X Prize - "The X PRIZE was founded for the specific purpose of stimulating the creation of a new generation of launch vehicles designed to carry passengers into space. Taking a lesson from the history books, we modeled the X PRIZE after the early aviation prizes. Since our inception three years ago over 16 teams have registered for the competition and we have raised over $5M towards the prize."
