Genesis - This site describes the Genesis mission which will involve sending a spacecraft to collect samples of the solar wind in 2001. [NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory]
Genesis - NASA Discovery Solar Wind Sample Return Mission - The primary objective of the Genesis Discovery class mission is to collect samples of solar wind particles and return them to Earth for detailed analysis. The science objectives are to obtain precise measurements of solar isotopic and elemental abundances and provide a reservoir of solar matter for future scientific analysis.
