Mission ISS-2A.2A
Mission Description:
The ISS 2A.2a/STS-101 mission was launched on 19 May 2000. Its main goal was to prepare the FGB/Node 1 for the arrival of the Service Module which arrived in July 2000. During the mission, the crew Installed four new batteries, 10 new smoke detectors and four new cooling fans on the FGB; installed the final parts of the Strela crane on Pressurized Mating Adapter 1, removed and replaced the early communications system antenna, and installed handrails on Node 1.

- Install Strela onto Strela Operator Post on PMA2 stowage location.
- Replace port ECOMM antenna.
- Install CBM centerline camera cable.
- Install Node 1 handrails.
- Clear SVS target ndot E1a.
- Secure OTD.
