CSA President Marc Garneau to Address U.S. President's Commission on Moon, Mars and Beyond

image Marc Garneau, President of the Canadian Space Agency will address the fifth and final public hearing of the Presidential Commission on Moon, Mars and Beyond, May 4, 11:15 a.m., at The Asia Society in New York City, 725 Park Avenue. Dr. Garneau has been invited to comment on Canada's partnership in the International Space Station.

Commission members will hold a televised news conference and answer questions from the media after deliberations conclude at 3:45 p.m. The Commissioners will offer their findings in a public session at 4:30 p.m.

The Commission proceedings will be broadcast live via NASA TV (NASA Television coordinates: satellite AMC 9; Transponder 9C, 85 degrees west longitude; vertical polarization downlink frequency of 3880 MHz; audio is at 6.8 MHz).
