SAINT-HUBERT, QUEBEC--On May 10 and 11, 2000, U.S. Senator and NASA Astronaut, John Glenn, and Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Dave Williams will visit Ottawa and Saint-Hubert as part of the Canadian Embrace Space 2000 celebrations.

Media representatives are invited to attend the following events:

   Presentation of detailed results of OSTEO experiment conducted
   during mission STS-95

        Canadian scientists responsible for the OSTEO experiment

4. Interactive youth presentation on space

        From 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

This event will be broadcast live on CBC Newsworld in its entirety,
and partly on RDI.
It will also be broadcast via the Internet to 16, 500 Canadian
schools in partnership with Industry Canada's SchoolNet on
http://www.schoolnet.ca/embracespace.

In addition to the 200 students from schools located in the greater
Montreal area who will be visiting the Canadian Space Agency for the
occasion, students gathered in the following science centres will be
participating in the event:
