NASA today announced it will release the results of its Exploration Systems Architecture Study on Monday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. CDT in NASA Headquarters' James E. Webb Auditorium.

The news conference will be carried live on NASA Television and on the Web at:

Questions will be taken from participating NASA centers.

On Jan. 14, 2004, President George W. Bush set a bold Vision for Space Exploration that instructed NASA to return the space shuttle to safe flight, complete the International Space Station, return to the moon and continue on to Mars.

The study commissioned by NASA Administrator Michael Griffin is the blueprint from which NASA will build the nation's future spacecraft and launch vehicles to meet the goals and objectives outlined by the President.

NASA TV is carried by an MPEG-2 digital signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical polarization. A digital video broadcast compliant integrated receiver decoder is required for reception.
