Canadian Astronaut Dave Williams' First Spacewalk

Longueuil, Quebec, August 9, 2007 - Media representatives are invited to the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to view images from NASA TV of Astronaut Dave Williams as he ventures out into space for his first ever spacewalk. CSA Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who performed the very first Canadian spacewalk in 2001, will be on-site to comment on this unique experience.

The time of the event may change without advance notice. Please call our Media Relations Office at 450-926-4370for the most up-to-date information.

Journalists who cannot be on-site at CSA will be able to watch the event live on our website at www.space.gc.ca/media.
