50th anniversary of the First Man in Space

Media representatives are invited to the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to take part in the press conference highlighting the 50th anniversary of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first space flight. The astronauts aboard the International Space Station will take questions from journalists. CSA Astronaut Robert Thirsk, who spent six months in space in 2009, will be on-site to comment this memorable day.

ONLY JOURNALISTS ON-SITE at the CSA will be able to ask questions.

Time of event may change without advance notice. Please call the CSA Media Relations Office to confirm the most up-to-date details.

Journalists who cannot be on site will be able to watch the event live on NASA TV.
