Canadian Space Agency Astronauts Jeremy Hansen and David Saint-Jacques Go Head to Head in the Amazing Canadian Space Race

On September 30, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronauts Jeremy Hansen and David Saint-Jacques will go head to head in a thrilling space race around Toronto. Each astronaut will be accompanied by a team of “tweeps” as they visit key space organizations and universities around the city to solve riddles, navigate through obstacle courses and space-themed challenges. Lasers and robots will be part of the fun!

Media representatives are invited to participate in the adventure. To reserve a spot on the minibus (space is limited) or to ensure access to the kickoff, please contact CSA Media Relations no later than Thursday, September 25, 2014.

Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2014, during the 65th International Astronautical Congress (IAC)

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Where: The race will start from the Canadian Space Agency Booth at IAC Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) 222 Bremner Boulevard, South Building, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3L9.
