Dr. Scott Pace to Attend United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space Plenary to Commemorate 50th Anniversary of Apollo Moon Mission

Dr. Scott Pace, Executive Secretary of the National Space Council, will attend the 62nd Session of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) Plenary next week in Vienna, Austria as part of the US delegation. 

At the invitation of Ambassador Jackie Wolcott, US Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna, Dr. Pace will participate in an official commemorative panel honoring the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission to the Moon. The panel will include senior representatives of the National Space Council, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), US Department of State, UN Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), and American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
