Press invited to Gamma-ray Burst Symposium, 20-23 October in Huntsville, Alabama

For three days in October, Huntsville, Ala. will be the center of the gamma-ray universe.

At the sixth Huntsville Gamma-ray Burst Symposium, world-renowned experts in gamma-ray astronomy from 25 nations will gather to discuss the latest science findings from NASA's Swift and Fermi missions. Special emphasis will be given to early observations from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, which was successfully launched earlier this year.
