Live Satellite-connected Webcam Image of Mt. Everest Seen Through Monsoon Mists

This webcam operates during daylight hours between 6:30 and 17:30 Nepalese time. During spring when most mountaineering expeditions happen, there is excellent visibility with dry air and few clouds. That said, a front of cloudy go up the valley and you will see a gray screen typical of the conditions of dense fog. This video gives a good explanation

The Indian subcontinent's climate stands out in a dry season (also called dry monsoon) which extends from November to May and a wet season (monsoon or wet monsoon), which runs from June through October.
