Education Opportunities in NASA STEM (EONS)
2016 Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP)
Tuesday, December 6, 2016
3:00 – 5:00 PM EST
This workshop will cover two EONS opportunities: “MUREP for American Indian and Alaskan Native STEM Engagement” (MAIANSE) and “Earth System, Technology, and Energy Education for Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) Tribal Colleges and Universities” (ESTEEM-TCU). An in-depth overview of the ESTEEM-TCU and MAIANSE opportunities will be given, and information regarding proposal preparation, guidelines and requirements will be provided. For information regarding these NASA opportunities, please visit their pages in NSPIRES: ESTEEM-TCU and MAIANSE.
Please note: The only way to be notified of any changes regarding this session is via the ESTEEM-TCU and/or MAIANSE solicitation page in the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES). You are strongly advised to check the solicitation page frequently and it is important you check for any updates before joining the session on Tuesday.
After the presentation, there will be a brief Q&A session. Please submit your questions no later than COB December 5th so that NASA will be able to cover as much information as possible during the workshop. If you pose a question during the call, you are asked to limit your questions to general topics only. Questions pertaining to your specific organization or institution, should be submitted in writing. This will give NASA the time to respond, in detail, to your individual needs.
Questions for ESTEEM-TCU should be sent to Larcemail@example.com
Questions for MAIANSE should be sent to MAIANSEfaq@nasaprs.com
The call will be recorded and transcribed. For the sake of accuracy be sure to speak slowly and clearly, be sure your questions are concise and clearly stated, and please spell anything that might be recorded incorrectly.
If you are unable to attend, presentation slides and a written transcript of the teleconference will be posted in NSPIRES shortly after the workshop.
Instructions on how to connect to the workshop are listed below. WebEx will be used to show the slide presentation only; to hear the presentation and participate in the Q&A session, you must dial in via the telecon number.
