Learn the fundamentals of classical orbital dynamics and modern computational astrodynamics as well as the basic principles of orbital transfer, intercept, and rendezvous guidance problems. Gain expertise in the various astrodynamical methods required for the successful development of advanced space systems and complex space missions.
This course will be taught by Bong Wie, professor of aerospace engineering, Iowa State University. Wie is the author of the AIAA textbooks Space Vehicle Dynamics and Control (2nd Edition) and Space Vehicle Guidance, Control, and Astrodynamics.
