  5. Since the activation of the spacecraft’s X-band communication equipment, several passes over Direct Broadcast stations have occurred. The stations at GSFC, the University of Wisconsin, Louisiana State University, and Seaspace at San Diego have reported successful reception of the downlink. Ground-Based Attitude Determination (GBAD) packets are currently present on the Direct Broadcast downlink.

The following activities are scheduled for the next 24 hours:

  1. Complete instrument recovery activities, including:
    1. Complete AMSR-E dynamic balancing
    2. Spin-up AMSR-E from 29 to 40 rpm
  2. Uplink the daily Master Command Loads and Ephemeris.

Aqua Spacecraft Status:

  1. Spacecraft State is currently Standby.
