In preparation for the November 14 launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour on mission STS-126 the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo was moved and mated to the shuttle on pad 39A.

When NASA postponed STS-125 space shuttle Endeavour which was the emergency backup shuttle for that mission was in a rare move, moved to launch pad 39A from 39B.

NASA STS-126 space shuttle Endeavour was moved to Launch pad 39B STS-126. However when STS-125 was scrubbed Endeavour was subsequently moved to pad 39A.

Officially known as the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test the seven STS-126 astronauts spent three days doing their countdown rehearsal.
