An Arianspace Ariane 5 will dual launch the Koreasat 6 and Hispasat 1E satellites from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana.
Koreasat 6 commercial communications satellite of KT Corporation of the Republic of Korea and was built by Orbital Sciences Corporation.
Hispasat 1E is a communications satellite designed to operate for at least 15. The satellite has a state-of-the-art Ku-band which will be located at 30 degrees West, further expanding HISPASAT's coverage in Europe, the Americas, and North Africa.
Editor's update:The launch date has been pushed back one day to allow one of the mission's customers to perform complementary checks on its payload.
